M16 x 30mm Fine Thread Pitch Hexagon Bolts are a variant of standard thread hexagon bolts, but have a finer thread pitch. The M8 fine thread pitch is 1.0mm, M10 fine thread pitch is 1.25mm, M12 fine thread pitch is 1.50mm and M16 fine thread pitch is also 1.50mm
The fine thread pitch is used for a greater thread engagement. Metric Fine Pitch Full Thread Hexagon Bolts, from Jacbolts, are manufactured to the specification DIN 961.
